In original design of SKODA horizontal boring machines were used for the adjustment of perpendicularity of spindle axis to the column guideways the standard key wedges which are used generally for adjustment of headstock on column. There was developed the new system of headstock fixation wedges that simplifies the processing of adjustment of perpendicularity of spindle to the column guideways and increases its accuracy.
